Too bad my Eee takes 12 Volts August 10, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Selected this product to power my Eee from my car and on the plane. After I got it I found out the AC and car adapters only put out 9.5 volts. My Eee needs 12 volts. More on that later. I went back to Amazon and double checked....there is no mention of what voltage it puts out. Now I am certain that the Eee's took 9.5 V when they were first introduced...but I bought a 1000H 80G version and it, being newer and having more newie-er stuff, obviously needs MORE POWER (sorry couldn't help it). This is totally useless to me and since I am working in Iraq right now...I can't return it. $41 in price and shipping shot.
Adapters for Eee PC Series July 5, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
These adapters are fine and work well. You can take your Eee PC anywhere in the world and be sure that you can supply power to the Eee PC. Recommended.
NEVER GOT WHAT I WANTED June 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't know how to review this as the item sent to me was totally something else. It did have 4 cables but had no relation to EEEPC. Only 4 AC cables.......
The problem is i cannot send it back now........
Good experience so far April 24, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have owned the product for a few months and have been using the wall charger and the 12v auto charger regularly. They have both worked well. The product appears to be well-made, and I think it is a good value for the price.
Worked for 1 week March 21, 2008 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I purchased this Travel Charger directly from Brando, the manufacturer. It charged my eeePC all right, but after leaving it plugged in for a week or so, it stopped putting out any voltage. I opened the wall wart and found that the fuse wasn't blown, so I suspect that one of the other components is cheaply-sourced and failure-prone. I did not try the car charger but would suspect it is probably not the highest-quality part in the world either.
