Nicholas Sparks has written another fantastic story, as he always does. He is without a doubt the best author of this genre in the country today. The story has great characters, a great and original storyline, and the perfect ending. All of his books would get an A+ in my book, but his five best are, in my opinion: 5. A Bend In The Road, 4. True Believer, 3. The Lucky One, 2. The Choice, and 1. Dear John. Can't wait for Sparks' next book.

Sparks needs to come up with some better ideas. This book is predictable and not that interesting. I liked some of his other books, but I don't know what happened to this one. Very cheesy.

Book came quickly and in good condition. However, I did not care for this book. I've always loved Nicholas Sparks, but he missed the mark with this one. It is slow moving and hard to follow.

What an incredible read. Nicholas Sparks weaves a story with vestiges of reality interwoven with just the right amount of idealism. The reality: we all have to face death. The idealism: we hope we find love before we do!
OK story but FLOUR? December 22, 2008
I don't read many "romance" type books but I did enjoy this one. My only complaint is on page 253 (large print book!). They are making homemade ice cream and "she chose sugar, flour, and vanilla extract." WHO puts FLOUR into ice cream?
Anyways, I thought this book was OK, predictable but an easy weekend read.
