 Slim cut, washes up nicely January 8, 2009
I bought this shirt in ice blue for my husband, who had found (and miraculously resisted buying) a similar dress shirt at Banana Republic for $89 a few months ago. Granted, the quality of this shirt is not *quite* the same as BR, but it's still very nice and truly a great value for the price. The herringbone pattern is delicate and not really noticeable unless you get up close. The collar has built-in stays. Like another reviewer said, the color of the fabric is not as vibrant as the picture, but it's still pleasing to the eye and, I imagine, flattering on virtually everyone.
The most notable feature of this shirt is its slim cut. (Not sure why one reviewer said it was "probably cut on the large side," which couldn't be further from the truth!) My hubby is skinny and prefers his clothes slim and fitted, so he loooves this shirt. I normally have to take in his dress shirts on the sides, but this one was perfect right out of the package! It washes up nicely, too -- no wrinkles, so he doesn't have to bother with ironing it. Can't beat that.

I bought this shirt for my boyfriend. He wears a suit every day and was always complaining about the extra material that gathers in his waistband with the regular dress shirts. He also felt that the other shirts made him look heavy. This solved both problems and he loves the shirt. He particulary liked the herringbone pattern on it. I ordered by his regular collar size and it fit perfectly and looks great. No more bulkiness under his suits.
