Yawn... February 11, 2010 BL (California, USA) Bought it when it came out, played through it in about 6 hours, have never put it back in my machine. Translation: RENTAL. :)
Even though it was near the end of the line for the PS2, its graphics fell waaaaayyyy short of other competition like God of War. They seemed to mostly phone this one in, like many movie tie-ins. I'd basically describe it as a less-fun Double Dragon with lightsabers and a broken "versus" mode.
The greatest compliment I can honestly give it is that it was entertaining to watch non-gamers whack each other with lightsabers in the versus mode at a recent party. It's so badly done, the playing field is pretty even--your best gaming research and effort will still leave you dead-even with a zombie pressing buttons beside you.
FUN AND CHALLENGING June 20, 2009 Felix Javier Puga (Panama City, Panama) The producers made great strides in creating an harmonious attack system. Even though you have a myriad of options it won't take you long to master them. You`ll handle a very coordinated killing machine and feel very much in control. Like a Jedi.
Fun To Play!! June 2, 2009 Rockstar Romeraux (Baker,Louisiana) Before this game came out, I wasn't too crazy about Star Wars video games seince most of the Jedi based games came out only on XBox (Knights Of The Old Republic) and playstation one. I saw this in a store and decided to pick it up. Of course I talked myself into buying it, and its a decision I will not soon regret!! Star Wars Episode 3 the game is flat out fun!! You can play as either Obi-Wan or Anikin each ending with their own story. Vs mode is fun to play as well. If your planning on buying this I suggest also buying Star Wars the force unleashed as well. Overall I gave this game a 4/5 rating for good graphics fun gameplay, and finally a VS mode.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith February 16, 2009 Matthew Reichel (Seattle, WA USA) Video Game was very entertaining.
Video Game arrived in a very timely fashion.
Video Game arrived in excellent condition.
Great game for Clone Wars fans! January 29, 2009 Paul Burney (Athol, MA United States) My daughter (age 5) and I are huge fans of the new Clone Wars animated series as well as the 6 movies (yes, even the first three and even Jar Jar Binks). I heard about the Wii Lightsaber Duels game and was resigned to retiring my ancient PS2 when I found this game for sale used.
It's great for the lightsaber duels part where you can be many Clone Wars characters including Obi-Wan, Anakin, Dooku, Mace Windu and Grevious. You also have the choice of playing Old Ben Kenobi from Episode IV and Darth Vader. Additionally there are two characters unique to this game and one of them is a girl which my daughter really appreciates.
The campaign mode is also fun for you to try out your different lightsaber moves and force powers while trashing the "clankers," turning them into "scrap metal." There's also a cooperative mode where two players together fight through various scenes. My daughter and I enjoy that but not as much as fighting each other.
There are codes available online that allow you unlock all of the players and scenes if you don't want to play through the whole campaign to be able to use them (I sure didn't but I may at some point).
If you are a Star Wars fan and want to feel like you're in the movie, I'd highly recommend this game.
