Unusable Internet Play January 1, 2007

The single-player mode looked like a good, if not especially interesting, RTS environment to play in, but it was painful to play over the Internet; not because of any technical difficulty with firewalls, NAT routers, etc, but because the game slowed to a dead crawl in networked mode. Unless you only want to play it by yourself, I can't recommend this game. Since I wanted to play it with the same people I played Red Alert 2, Age of Empires/Mythology, and Generals with, it was a disappoinment.
