The product was listed as brand new. The box was worn, and clear tape was used on the openings. Not sure how "new" the product was...it seems that the product was used a bit and resold - the box was too worn for the product to have not been opened and listened to a few times (at least).

Oh my gosh, I love this. I saved the CD's to my MP3 player and listen to it at work and the sound effects are awesome. Sometimes I look out the window thinking it is pouring down rain, all the while it is the background to the reading of the bible. You can hear people chanting and storms it makes you feel like you really are there. And what a better way to read - listen to the bible. You will love them!

When it come down to understanding the Bible it can be a little hard. But the way it comes to life,Yea you must get it to understand what I'm saying.

I was really concerned about purchasing this product due to the possibility that individual chapters would not be accessible in the ipod menu. They are! It reads "Genesis 1, Genesis 2, Genesis 3," etc. I am using an ipod nano, 5th generation, 16 gigs.
I found something in itunes that specifies how it will download under edit. edit -> preferences -> keep itunes media folder organized: places files into album and artist folders, and names the files based on the disc number, track number, and the song title. I simply checked the box next to these words and everything loaded as hoped for.
My ipod is NOT providing written text with this program, which for my purposes, is preferable. I would not want to use my battery life to read it, plus, I am using it on the go, so it's great for me.
I had the Bible Experience on CD first, and now, after purchasing the MP3 version, I am gifting the CD version to a friend. This is an incredible series that I would recommend to anyone!

Love this reenactment of the Bible, with sound effects that are absolutely wonderful and brings it to reality when I am listening. The voices are surperb!!
